What I'm trying to do is have a Main Games section then selection Games-1 which should go to Games 1 and the list of games in that area, exit that and return to Game section, select Games-2, list games in that area, abnd so on.
I'm using the command line on xtrn_sec games-1, or xtrn_sec games-2. Is this the correction way to do that?
So the external program section module (you have configured in SCFG->System->Loadable Modules->Xtrn Section) is xtrn_sec.js? That means you're wanting xtrn_sec.js to run recursively. It *might* work, but the command line would need to be "?xtrn_sec <section-name>" (as you had in your previous message on this topic).
But a better solution might be to use the "External Program Menu" module instead of xtrn_sec.js, as it claims to support 'any number of menus' (depth):
